We have finally put the first paint on the walls. We were inspired by a visit from some very old friends - a visit I will post about soon! Admittedly, we started small, tackling the alcove first, but at least it's a start. It looks good. And, if you get the allusion in this post's title, you'll know what color it is, too.

Aaaah! That allusion is on the tip of my tongue...but failing me. As is Google: I searched ["first paint" allusion] and your blog came up on top! Good for your blog, not good for jogging my memory. Still, glad to hear about the alcove. Presidential portrait coming soon!
JJ - Rambo. It was Mr. Beeton's idea. I'm not particularly versed in that movie genre. :)
